Hey everyone.  Since the Featured Artist didn't work the way I had hoped, I've had to scrap it.  Not enough participation from you, the members.  But yet we get inundated with submissions and more submissions.

Well I have decided to change somethings and they will be MAJOR changes.  I can't believe that dtor91 envisioned this group being a file box for art.  His plan was to celebrate the female form.

What is a Deviant Vixen?  Good Question!  Well look at a dictionary and you'll find that a DEVIANT is: adj. deviating, as from what is considered acceptable behavior and a VIXEN is: n. 1. a female fox or 2. a quarrelsome or spiteful woman.  So the Name say is all a Sexy Female shown in a form that is deviating from what is acceptable behavior.  So Straight up portraits of fine looking ladies can be found anywhere.  Here we will be looking for those that present and are presented in an other than NORMAL way.  Now that has been set out what is going to happen?

Well I'm looking for some admins to help us out in 1. cleaning up the VAST amount of art we have here, and 2. help select what we DO accept.  Currently there are two admins and myself but one is almost never on due to personnel problems and the other admin has difficulty managing the site or work issues keep them from being on every day.

What I hope to have is Volunteers to be admins and a total of three in each area: Digital, Photography, Traditional and Tradition to Digital.  Theses members will help determining what those categories are and what is accepted.

NOW I AM NOT CENSORING OR SHUTTING OUT.  We just have SO MUCH coming in it is just me and one other admin looking at all of this.  We sometimes find one piece not fitting and then another wrong.  TO be fair and raise the QUALITY of the art here I want us to be a team and look at those styles that we are, our selves working in.  That means if your medium is traditional (Pen, pencil, charcoal, manual drawing), we need you to help with the Traditional group.  The same goes for Photography, if that is the medium you use, come on!  Digital is clear as well.  and so on.  Raise you hand and let me know!

Once I have three team members for each of the groups we will "chat" together and get this all laid out then I'll let you know what is going on.  I may have to close certain folders down due to the size, but that will be temporary. I also may have to delete items for the simple reason that they just don't fit what we are.  BUT THAT IS ONLY A LAST RESORT.

So Please let me know through this blog/journal or an IM to let me know if you're interested.  We need the help and it will work.  I'm in another group that does the same and it is so fair and simple!
